Dear Tonya: My wife and I want to express to you both our gratitude for the exceptional work you performed for us. Clearly, without your help we would never have been able to close on schedule and make our move to Hawaii. Please feel free to share this letter with any prospective clients.
As you may remember, our large ( 6200 sq. ft.) house had been on the market for over 3 years. We finally received an earnest offer from people in the process of relocating from the Mid-West. Because they wanted to repurpose several rooms, they conditioned the sale on a very prompt closing. In fact, from contract to closing was not even a full month. As we were permanently relocating to Hawaii where we already owned a fully furnished home of less than half the square footage of the Texas house, we were confronted with significant decisions as to what we wanted to ship and how to dispose of all the remaining things. Needless to add, the cost of shipping was an important consideration as well. This meant we had to dispose of most of the furniture, all the appliances, clothing, books, household items , small appliances and the accumulation of many years. Additionally, we had a hot tub the buyers had no interest in, a huge three station gym and a professional tanning bed, any one of which would have been an enormous task to move. Once we had packed the "must haves" for shipment, the house still looked full and the clock was ticking. That is when we were fortunate enough to meet with you both. We were just incredibly lucky that you had an opening in your usually crowded schedule. We can still remember the great sense of relief when you walked through the house and assured us that you would take care of everything. True to your word, your crew arrived on schedule and began collecting and assembling our mountain of accumulated things. Every member of your team was efficient, pleasant and professional. I have to note that through the process, everything was done to allow us to keep some semblance of normality despite the enormity of the project. I also have to note ( though it goes without saying ), the absolute honesty of your staff is refreshing. Most people will leave a dollar here and some change there. Whenever anyone came across something like that or even had a question as to whether we intended to sell something like a piece of jewelry left in a bowl, it was immediately given to us. When we reached the weekend of the sale, we were impressed by the way your website publicized the sale as well as the way in which the sale was physically organized. Perhaps because an estate sale requires the sellers to just "let go", we left the house before the sale began and only returned the day after the sale which also happened to be the day before the closing. We had contracted with you for a clean-up of the house. When we walked in to a completely empty house which had been thoroughly and expertly cleaned, we were nothing short of amazed. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us and can recommend you with no reservations whatsoever. Cordially,
